One of the most reliable military armored vehicles of its kind decided to send the United Kingdom at a critical juncture for Ukraine, according to a revelation in the Sun.
These are Stormer vehicles with high-speed missile launchers, such as the advanced Starstreak anti-aircraft missiles, which have already been provided to the Ukrainian armed forces by London.
The operation of the launchers from this vehicle was presented to Ukrainian officials two weeks ago in a shooting range on British soil.
The 13-ton armored vehicles will be sent to Ukraine by C-17 transport aircraft probably within the next few days.
Stormer and its missile system need three soldiers to operate and aim to shoot down aircraft flying at low altitudes.
Experts who speak to the Sun say that the Stormer-Starstreak combination is the best weapon system that the West will have in Ukraine.
A statement on the sending of vehicles to the Ukrainians is expected to be made within the week in the House of Commons by the British Minister of Defense Ben Wallace.
The United Kingdom has already announced the decision to send 120 personnel carriers to Ukraine, including “Beasts” weighing 23 tons Mastiff type.
