Café da Manhã brings this Saturday (23) a special episode: the audio documentary “Zelensky – A President under the spotlight”. The program was produced in March by the Swedish podcast Spotify Dok and had the Brazilian version adapted by the Café team.
The episode chronicles the unlikely trajectory of Zelensky, 44, and tells how he went from theater stages and TV screens in post-Soviet Ukraine to broadcasts made from bunkers during the Russian invasion of the country.
Listen to the documentary:
A successful actor and comedian, Zelensky became the Ukrainian president three years ago, with no previous political experience and after having served as an agent in a series. Now, he has become known worldwide for the role he plays in real life: leading the European country in the face of the war started by Russia two months ago.
They are heard in the episode Roman Horbyk, who surveys the Ukrainian media; journalist Simon Shuster, a correspondent for Time magazine; Nicola Söderlund, television producer; and Igor Gielow, special reporter for Sheet.
The Brazilian version is presented by Magê Flores and Maurício Meireles. They also adapted the screenplay, which was collaborated by Daniel Castro and translated by Clara Allain. The production is by Jéssica Maes, Laila Mouallem and Victor Lacombe, and the sound editing by Thomé Granemann.
Café da Manhã is published on Spotify, partner streaming service of Sheet in the initiative and who specializes in music, podcast and video. You can listen to the episode by clicking above. To access the application just register for free.
