Discover one of the shortest commercial flights in the world

by

With less than 10 minutes, the flight that connects the international airports of Sint Maarten and Anguilla islands, both in the Caribbean, is one of the shortest in the world.

Time aboard Anguilla Air Services’ Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander does not require in-flight service. The flight travels about 19 km in a straight line and has a maximum capacity of 10 passengers.

The following two videos show the complete journey. The first of them presents from the departure in the courtyard of Sint Maarten until the take-off. In the second, there is the continuity of the flight until the stop in the Anguilla yard.

Brazilians who want to live this experience can consider flying to Miami or Panama followed by a connection to Sint Maarten, at Princess Juliana International Airport.

There are other ways to get to Anguilla, such as charter or private flights, private boats, regional flights from other Caribbean islands or even by ferry from Saint Martin (the French side of the island).
