Mover (Movement for Racial Equity), which was created days after the assassination of João Alberto Silveira Freitas, in November 2020, as a manifesto launched by a small group of Carrefour suppliers to fight racism, plans to expand for next year .
The group has just opened its CNPJ and is going to officially launch the external committee formed by black people specializing in the subject.
The movement, which was born with about ten companies such as Nestlé, Mondelez, Coca-Cola and L’Oréal, currently has the participation of nearly 50 companies, which promise to increase the presence of black professionals in leadership positions by 2030, adopting inclusive models of recruitment and development.
The most recent additions that Mover is expected to announce soon are XP and UnitedHealth Group, which join this month.
