Panel SA: Headset leads purchase of computer accessory in the pandemic, says survey

The headset was the most sought after accessory in the wave of heating demand for computers and parts driven by the pandemic, according to a survey commissioned by Kantar Millward Brown by Dell and Intel with 1,000 people who have at least one piece of equipment in all regions of the country.

About 50% of respondents say they have bought a computer since the arrival of Covid in Brazil.

Among them, 37% renewed their old equipment. Almost 10% changed the machine and even bought a new one or more than one.

More than 4% purchased their first computer, according to the survey.

The purchase or exchange of accessories was mentioned by 78% of respondents. The headset was purchased by 52%, followed by the mouse (49%), keyboard (32%) and monitor (16%), as well as cameras (16%).
