Meeting with Anastasiadis

The meeting of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiadis, with the President of the Central Union of Chambers of Greece (KEEE) and the Athens Chamber of Commerce (EEA), Giannis Hatzitheodosiou, took place in a very warm atmosphere at the Presidential Palace of Cyprus, at noon / 11.

During the discussion, the President of KEEE conveyed to the President of the Republic of Cyprus the fraternal greetings of the Greek chamber community, emphasizing that his presence in Cyprus is a symbolic and substantial confirmation of the intention of the Greek business community to further strengthen ties between Greece and Cyprus. Especially at this critical time when both countries are facing the Turkish provocation while at the economic level a simultaneous effort is being made to deal with the consequences of the pandemic.

At the same time, Mr. Hatzitheodosiou mentioned to Mr. Anastasiadis his intention for a more direct relationship and cooperation between Greek and Cypriot companies, for the benefit of both economies.

Nikos Anastasiadis expressed his satisfaction with the attitude of the Greek chamber community and agreed to consider ways to further strengthen relations between the two countries, through business partnerships.
During the meeting there was an exchange of souvenirs. The President of KEEE and EEC, Giannis Chatzitheodosiou, was accompanied by the General Secretary of EEC and Chairman of the Insurance Mediation Committee of the Athens Chamber of Commerce, Dimitris Gavalakis.

Meeting with Christodoulidis

On Tuesday 30/11/2021, the President of the Central Union of Greek Chambers (KEEE) and the Athens Chamber of Commerce (EEC), Giannis Chatzitheodosiou, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulidis, in the framework of his contacts in Cyprus. .

Mr. Hatzitheodosiou conveyed to Mr. Christodoulidis the greetings and support of the Greek chamber and business community in Cyprus.

Specifically, the discussion focused on the creation of a Bilateral Chamber of Greece – Cyprus, the organization of a business forum with the participation of Greek and Cypriot companies, but also the implementation of coordinated actions so that Greek companies, through cooperation with Cypriot companies, gain access to the Middle East market. , and respectively the Cypriot companies, through cooperation with the Greek ones, to gain access to the Balkan market.
