About 3.1 million vehicle owners (motorcycles or cars) have 29 days, until August 29, to submit their application for a fuel subsidy. In detail the vehicles that are within the scope of Fuel pass 2.
At least 200,000 applications for fuel pass 2 were submitted within a few hours of 7am when the platform opened for citizens whose VAT numbers end in 1, 2 and 3.

About 3.1 million vehicle owners (motorcycles or cars) have 29 days, until August 29, to submit their application.
As in the first version of the fuel pass, the gov.gr – Fuel Pass platform will be opened gradually, based on the expiring VAT number.
They have the right to submit tomorrow, August 2 those ending in 4,5,6,7 and on Wednesday 8,9 and 0.
From August 4, there will be no restriction on applications.
The money will be credited 3 days after the application of the interested party is approved and it concerns the period until the end of September.
Beneficiaries are any natural person, including freelancers, who are tax residents of Greece with a declared family income for the tax year 2021 of up to 30,000 euros, plus 3,000 euros for the spouse or cohabiting partner and an additional 3,000 euros for each dependent child of the household and up to the amount of 45,000 euros. This means that the couple has an income limit of 33,000 euros, a couple with 1 child 36,000€ to reach the couple with 4 children and 45,000€.
If the beneficiary chooses to receive the money on an immaterial card, the amounts are distributed as follows:
100 euros for cars in island Greece except Crete
80 euros for cars in mainland Greece
70 euros for machines on the islands and
€60 euros for machines in mainland Greece
If the beneficiary chooses the credit to his bank account, then the amount is reduced by 15 euros.
That is:
€85 for cars in island Greece except Crete
€65 for cars in mainland Greece
€55 for machines on the islands and
€45 for machines in mainland Greece
As with the fuel pass 1, the luckiest are the owners of diesel cars, who, in addition to the subsidy, also enjoy a reduction of 15 minutes at the pump due to the state aid.
The gasoline subsidy will be based on the declarations of the tax year 2021, i.e. this year’s. This means that those of you who have not yet submitted your tax return cannot get the fuel pass, so hurry up. Each vehicle can only be declared by one natural person and each natural person can only declare one vehicle. Necessary conditions for the vehicle to be in traffic, to be insured and no road tax due
The digital debit card is used through a device that supports contactless transaction technology (Web/Virtual POS). So anyone who asks for the amount to be credited to an immaterial digital card loses it, if they do not have a suitable device to redeem it, which supports contactless remote payments (NFC).
The cost of the measure amounts to 200 million euros.
Step by step the beneficiaries’ application process
The entry of the natural person-beneficiary to the special application, which is accessible through the Unified Digital Portal of the Public Administration (gov. gr-ΕΣΤ), is carried out after authentication using the credentials of the General Secretariat of Public Administration Information Systems (taxisnet ), in accordance with article 24 of Law 4727/2020 (A’ 184).
This action is implemented as a service in the infrastructure of vouchers.gov.gr and will reuse the TAXISnet login services (OAuth 2.0 client) of the existing services of the FuelPass Program, in accordance with the under data 2653/21.4.2022 (B’ 2030) joint decision of the Ministers of Finance, Development and Investments, State and Digital Governance.
