C&A will start offering credit life insurance for consumers who make purchases in installments with the brand’s digital card.
It will cost BRL 4.99 per installment, in an agreement with MetLife for the distribution of insurance, which guarantees the payment of debts in the event of death or disability.
Launched in December 2021, C&A Pay now has more than 1 million customers, and around 75% of purchases made using the card are paid in installments, according to company data.
At MetLife, the goal is to reach the end of the year with a 28% growth in credit life sales in commercialization agreements with partners other than C&A.
