Young leaders debate the future of Brazil with Lemann and Benchimol

by

Discussing strategic areas to boost Brazil’s human, social and economic development is one of the objectives of the second edition of the Four Summit, an event that will bring together leaders between the 7th and 8th of September, at Parque Ibirapuera, in São Paulo.

The date was chosen to coincide with the bicentennial of the country’s independence: “It is time to think ahead and to see and build plural solutions for our society”, says the organization.

The forum is held by Instituto Four, responsible for the Prólider young leadership development program. Non-profit, the institution was created with the objective of training and developing leaders who think of ways to solve Brazil’s biggest problems and who aim to be in the main decision-making spaces in the country.

The first edition of the Four Summit was held in 2019 and had 90 speakers and around 700 participants – including 81 CEOs.

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, in 2022 the organizers hope to bring together more than 100 speakers and 1,000 leaders to debate ways of thinking about Brazil.

This year, the main topic of discussion will be “The Four Dimensions of Brazil”: ethics, leadership and education, business and innovation and technology. The forum will have simultaneous activities and will not be broadcast over the internet.

Among the confirmed names are Jorge Paulo Lemann (3G Capital), Guilherme Benchimol (XP), Rachel Maia (RM Consulting), Selma Moreira (JP Morgan) and Jean Jereissati (Ambev).

Conceived by Wellington Vitorino, executive director of the institute, the event aims to transform itself into a new World Economic Forum, like the one held in Davos, Switzerland.

The event is for guests, but interested parties can sign up to receive a content on the forum’s website.
