Auxílio Brasil calendar of R$ 600 can be advanced in September

The main bet of the Bolsonaro government in search of reelection, the Auxílio Brasil of R$ 600 may have the advance payment schedule again in the month of September, as happened in August. The dates, however, have not yet been defined by the Ministry of Citizenship.

The measure is under study. While there is no final decision, the usual schedule of the program is valid, with release of values ​​from the 19th of September. In August, payments were scheduled to start on the 18th, but were brought forward to the 9th and ended on the 22nd.

In September, the initial forecast is to pay the benefit between the 19th and 30th. The order of deposits will not change. The money is released according to the end of the NIS (Social Identification Number). First, they receive citizens with a final NIS 1 and so on, until reaching those with a final card of zero.

Gas vouchers will be paid again in October

This month, only Auxílio Brasil will be paid. There is no gas voucher, a benefit that is released every two months. Payment was made in August. Families even received R$ 710, when adding the aid of R$ 600 and the gas voucher of R$ 110. The increase, however, is temporary, and goes only until December.

The Ministry of Citizenship’s forecast is to increase again the number of families benefited. In August, another 2.2 million entered the payroll, totaling 20.2 million families covered.

There is, however, no closed number, because the new payroll has not been run. In the 2023 Budget, the amount reserved for the benefit, of BRL 105.7 billion, will be enough to pay BRL 405 to 21.6 million families.

To receive, you must be registered in CadÚnico (Cadastro Único). The citizen needs to pre-register through the website or app and then confirm the data at the Cras (Social Assistance Reference Center) of the prefectures. The confirmation period is up to 120 days.

CadÚnico is not only used to map who needs Auxílio Brasil. Registration is used to pay benefits from other social programs. Today, there are 35 million low-income families in Brazil. At the beginning of Bolsonaro’s term, there were 27.3 million.

Consignment of Auxílio Brasil does not have a date yet

The release of payroll-deductible loans to beneficiaries of Auxílio Brasil — a measure criticized by financial educators and consumer protection agencies — scheduled to begin in September does not yet have a date.

According to the Ministry of Citizenship, it is necessary to wait for the regulation to be published before signing a contract with the entities that will be able to offer the loan.

In an interview in mid-August, Minister Ronaldo Bent said that there are 17 institutions approved and able to grant the loan, without specifying the names. According to the agency, complementary or temporary benefits are not included in the calculation to define the amount of the loan.
