An amount of 46.84 million euros is credited as of today as compensation by the Ministry of Finance to the accounts of 9,815 former employees in credit institutions that were placed in special liquidation, completing the relevant procedure.
The beneficiaries are 9,815 former employees of credit institutions that were put into special liquidation, of which 5,430 in the former Agricultural Bank of Greece, 2,987 in the former Post Bank and the rest in other credit institutions under special liquidation.
In a second stage, an additional amount of 12.61 million euros will be distributed to another 317 beneficiaries of the former Agricultural Bank of Greece, who were vindicated based on court decisions.
The distribution of this additional amount is estimated to be completed by September 15.
