Tonight, the Prime Minister is announcing a series of measures for Greek society, at a time when Europe is at a crossroads of energy decisions.
The days will be
Increases in pensions: The increase will be more than 6.5% for 1,600,000 pensioners, those who do not have a personal difference. Also, over 500,000 pensioners will have the personal difference zeroed out. A second increase is coming for 280,000 old pensioners with more than 30 years of insurance.
Bottom at 751: The minimum wage in the private sector will increase from May 1, 2023, to 751 euros. It will affect 650,000 workers. Annual increase of 518 euros. 23 benefits are affected and the unemployment benefit goes from 407.25 euros to 461.82 euros.
Abolition of levy: Now the toughest memorial tax is going away. It affected incomes above 12,000 euros and according to Mr. Hatzidakis, 4,140,000 workers in the private sector and 1,000,000 pensioners benefit.
Allowances: Heating and fuel allowances are increasing.

Housing allowance: It concerns interest-free loans for the purchase or repair of a home, rent subsidy.
Reduction of contribution taxes: The new contribution reduction will be 0.60% in 2023 and will concern the private and public sector. In the public sector, the withholding of 1% from the salaries of the public sector is abolished.
