The decisions of the Board of Directors of the Capital Market Commission
The Board of Directors of the Capital Market Commission, during today’s meeting, decided:
-The approval of the request of “IDEAL HOLDINGS SA” for the exercise of the right of redemption (squeeze-out) on the shares of the company “BYTE COMPUTER SA”.
-The imposition of a fine of 700,000 euros on the company “VIE FINANCE A.E.P.E.Y.” for violation of provisions of the capital market legislation concerning:
– non-compliance with the obligations provided for the categorization of private clients as professionals
– failure to comply with the obligation to effectively supervise compliance with the conduct of the companies cooperating with it,
– failure to establish appropriate arrangements to protect its client’s rights and prevent the use of its funds for its own account
– non-observance of the restrictions regarding the initial margin for opening positions in CFDs
– other violations related to organizational adequacy and in particular issues of investor protection, during the provision of investment services
– The imposition of a fine of 3,000 euros on the company “INDRACAT SA” for the financial statements of the year 1.1.2020-31.12.2020 due to non-compliant with IAS/IFRS preparation.
