Extension to the digital census of the working hours of employees – When does the new deadline expire

About 60% of the registrations so far out of a total of 2,410,134 – The digital inventory of working time is the previous stage for the full implementation of the Digital Work Card mechanism

It is extended until Tuesday, December 20 at 12:00 midnight the deadline for the completion of the digital inventory process of working hours, in the ERGANI II Information System, by all companies – employers in the private sector for all their employees with a contract of salaried dependent work.

The digital inventory of working time is the previous stage for the full implementation of its mechanism Digital Job Card.

This extension is provided in order to give sufficient time to those companies that were not delisted and their accountants to proceed with the necessary actions. However, it is emphasized that no further extension will be granted.

It is noted that from November 1, when the system was opened, until Friday, November 25, registrations were made corresponding to approximately 500,000 workers, out of a total of 2,410,134. Until the evening of Tuesday, November 29 – one day before the expiration of the initial deadline – the registrations corresponded to to 974,000 workers.

Until 6.00 p.m. registrations had taken place today for 1,346,205 workers (55.8%% of the total). Accordingly, until 6.00 p.m. today, out of a total of approximately 289,334 businesses, 195,967 businesses were registered (percentage of 67%).

These figures show that the vast majority of businesses have registered – which proves that a lot of small businesses have registered – but also the majority of workers. And most registrations have been made in the last five days, while the system has been open since Tuesday, November 1st.
