The extraordinary financial support for livestock farmers concerns 89 million euros for the purchase of animal feed
From next Monday, December 19 until December 29, the platform will be open where livestock farmers can submit their applications for the emergency aid of 89 million euros for the purchase of animal feed.
According to the YPAAT, the aid is provided by the Rural Development Program of Greece 2014-2022 and specifically by the actions:
Sub-measure 1: Extraordinary temporary support to farmers in the extensive sheep and goat farming and cattle farming sectors.
Sub-measure 2: Extraordinary temporary support to breeders in the intensive goat and sheep, cattle, poultry and pig farming sectors.
The aim of the Measure is to provide emergency temporary support to livestock farms, with the aim of dealing with the effects of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and, in particular, the large increase in feed prices.
The prospective beneficiaries, in order to join the measure, submit their application to the EYD SS KAP exclusively electronically through the Information System (IS) that supports the implementation of the Measure.
Registration in said system and submission of applications is done on the website eae.opekepe.gov.gr.
