OPECA: On December 20, the benefits and the emergency financial aid are paid – How many are the beneficiaries

At December 20, 2022 the benefits of the Organization of Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA) will be paid, while at the same time, on the same date, the extraordinary financial assistance will be paid to specific categories of beneficiaries, according to a government decision.

Specifically, the following allowances will be paid:

* Housing allowance: Beneficiaries 274,373 – 33,053,180 euros

* Minimum Guaranteed Income: Beneficiaries 224,676 – 47,763,942 euros

* Disability: Beneficiaries 174,892 – 71,472,302 euros

* Housing assistance: Beneficiaries 817 – 247,694 euros

* Expatriate allowance: Beneficiaries 5,963 – 210,263 euros

* Uninsured For. Pension Law 1296/1982: Beneficiaries 16,889 – 5,733,275 euros

* Senior Social Solidarity Allowance: Beneficiaries 18,416 – 6,400,455 euros

* Funeral expenses: Beneficiaries 221 – 175,522 euros

* Birth allowance: Beneficiaries 12,291 – 12,354,000 euros

* Child allowance: Beneficiaries 820,047 – 153,795,919 euros

* Mountainous and disadvantaged areas: Beneficiaries 736 – 355,800 euros

* eligible children of those who died in natural disasters: Beneficiaries 5 – 5,000 euros

* Undertaking allowance: Beneficiaries 474 – 241,878 euros
