The Vivara jewelry chain claims to have registered record sales on December 23, with results 30% above the last daily peak, which was reached at Christmas 2019, therefore, before the pandemic.
Christmas was favorable for the jewelry market this year. According to a survey by Ablos (an association that brings together shopping mall tenants), the jewelry category as a whole registered a 7.5% growth in sales, while other segments, such as footwear and accessories, had retraction.
