According to Fraport Greecein the country’s regional airports, international flights registered in the first two months an increase of 13.1% and 11.8% respectively compared to last year, while passenger traffic jumped to 60.6% and 42% compared to January and February 2022.
As Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias notes in a tweet, with over 1.1 million passengers (+51% compared to 2022), traffic in the first two months of 2023 at the country’s regional airports, according to Fraport data, it bodes well for a great year for tourism.
