Stock prices recorded a corrective retreat in today’s session Stock Exchangeafter seven bullish sessions during which the main stock index posted a total of 4.25% gains.

Intra-sessionally the market tried to move above the 1-year highs and 9-year highs of 1,133 points, only to retreat afterwards.

Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,135.50 units (+0.38%) and a lower price at 1,120.70 units (-0.93%).

O General Price Index closed at 1,122.41 points, down 0.78%.

The value of the transactions amounted to 73.33 million euros, while 22,302,236 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell 0.89%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.70%.

Of the large capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Coca Cola HBC (+1.11%), Ellactor (+0.99%) and OTE (+0.67%).

On the contrary, the biggest decline was recorded by the shares of Quest Participations (-2.51%), Aegean Airlines (-2.41%), Alpha Bank (-2.18%), Eurobank (-2.15%) and National (-2.04%).

Of the individual indices, the Food (+1.12%) and Telecommunications (+0.68%) indices recorded the biggest increase, while the Insurance (-1.94%) and Bank indices recorded the biggest losses (-1.87%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 7,710,457 and 4,330,320 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by PPC with 12.31 million euros and Alpha Bank with 9.24 million euros,

31 stocks moved up, 66 down and 16 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Eliketos +18.46% and Fieratex +6.15%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Bitros -14.29% and Progressive -6.00%.
