Tomorrow, Friday, May 19, 2023, the first of a series of payments, amounting to 20,334,737.50 euros, will be made, regarding the return of unduly paid contributions, branches of supplementary insurance and welfare, for the years 2019 and 2020, to thousands of professionals.

Specifically, it concerns lawyers with a salaried mandate from the private sector and NPIDs, salaried engineers, as well as health professionals from the private and public sector with a private law employment relationship (IDAX & IDOX), who:

– submitted an application, through the corresponding electronic service, until 02/05/2023,

– do not have a debt to e-EFKA certified to the KEAO for any reason and

– were employed by an employer during the above period of time.

In this first payment, the maximum refunded amount, which will be credited to the bank accounts of the 6,810 beneficiaries, amounts to 13,738.61 euros.

As stated in the relevant announcement, the competent services of e-EFKA continue to process the applications of the other categories of beneficiaries, as well as those submitted from 03/05/2023 and later, in order to award the corresponding amounts with the same procedure in a subsequent payment.
