Huawei, in partnership with ABGD (Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation), will park a trailer near Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo, to give free classes on installing photovoltaic systems.
The vehicle, which has already toured 49 cities in 17 states, will be stopped at Mackenzie, in the Higienópolis neighborhood, on February 1st and 2nd.
The structure is assembled with a classroom and a set with solar-powered kitchen and laundry.
The Road Show Huawei Solar project should serve 80 people in the capital of São Paulo, and the course has a workload of four hours. Students must present full vaccination coverage against Covid-19 and bring 1 kg of non-perishable food.
Brazil has already surpassed the mark of 10 GW (gigawatts) of installed power in solar energy, reaching the fourteenth position among the countries with the greatest capacity of this source. More than 70% of the capacity of the binational Itaipu hydroelectric plant, the second largest in the world.
National distributed generation has the residential class as the most prevalent, accounting for 3.38 GW, followed by commercial establishments, with 2.81 GW, according to ABGD.
