Payments of over 2.1 billion euros to more than 4 million beneficiaries will be made by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, e-EFKA and OAED, in the week of January 24-28, during which time they will be paid, among others, the main and auxiliary pensions of February, as well as the financial support of those employees who were included in the “CO-WORK” Mechanism for the month of December.
Particularly:
1. The following payments will be made by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs on Thursday, January 27:
a. Co-operation mechanism
– Financial support for short-term work for the month of December 2021: amount of 6,769,007 euros for 28,744 beneficiaries.
– License allowance ratio: amount 3,104,692 euros for 64,060 beneficiaries.
b. Special purpose compensation for suspension of employment contracts of employees in fire affected areas (Northern Evia): amount of 59,880 euros for 119 beneficiaries.
c. Special purpose compensation for artists (balances for the year 2021): amount of 26,214 euros for 50 beneficiaries.
2. The following payments will be made by e-EFKA, within the framework of the regular payments of the institution:
Regarding the payment of the main and auxiliary pensions in February:
– On Tuesday, January 25, 514.9 million euros will be paid to 1,093,289 retirees from the former IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires in 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
– On Wednesday, January 26, approximately 515.5 million euros will be paid to 1,094,576 retirees from the former IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires in 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8 .
– On Thursday, January 27, approximately 456 million euros will be paid to 824,301 retirees from the former OAEE, OGA and EBRD.
– On Friday, January 28, approximately 538 million euros will be paid to 907,303 pensioners of the State and the former NAT, the former ETAT, the former ETAP-MME and PPC. On the same day (Friday 28/11), 11 million euros will also be paid to 27,000 beneficiaries for February pension advances based on Law 4778/2021.
Regarding other regular payments:
-20.6 million euros will be paid to 630 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-off decisions.
Finally, in the context of the extraordinary payments of e-EFKA, 170,000 euros will be paid to 450 insured persons for overdue health benefits.
3. The following payments will be made by OAED:
– EUR 22 million to 59,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
– EUR 18 million will be paid to 5,500 beneficiaries under subsidized employment schemes.
– € 6 million will be paid to 10,500 mothers for a subsidized maternity leave.
– EUR 1 million will be paid to 2,000 beneficiaries under public benefit programs.
