Auxílio Brasil: extraordinary benefit will be paid in February

The Ministry of Citizenship will pay the extraordinary benefit of R$ 400 from the Auxílio Brasil program starting next Monday (14). According to the folder, families with the right to income and who are included in the February payroll have already started to be notified about the new value.

The higher income meets the decree of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), which determines payment of at least R$ 400 until December of this year to those who are part of the program. In all, 18.05 million families will receive Auxílio Brasil in February, 556,000 more than in January, according to Citizenship.

Last month, the benefit payroll included 17.5 million beneficiaries. R$ 7.3 billion will be paid. According to the ministry, in January, the average amount released in the program was R$ 407.54.

The consultation of the exact amount should be released next Monday (14), when the benefit payments begin. It can be done through the Caixa Tem application, on the Caixa Econômica Federal telephone number 111 and through the Auxílio Brasil application.

It will also be possible, on Monday, to check the values ​​through the Meu CadÚnico app and at the Cidadania relationship center, on the phones 121 or 0800-7072003.

“Families included in the Auxílio Brasil payroll in February have already started to receive notifications, but the message informs a partial amount, as the sheet is still being processed”, says a note from Citizenship.

“The total amounts, including the extraordinary benefit, which raised the minimum amount of Auxílio Brasil to R$ 400 until December 2022, will only be fully available in the consultation channels from next Monday (14.02)”, informs the folder. .

The Auxílio Brasil payment schedule starts with those who have a NIS (Social Identification Number) ending in 1. The money will be released until February 25 for those who have a NIS ending in zero. Check the dates below.

How is the payment of amounts

Payment of Auxílio Brasil is made by Caixa Econômica Federal. The money is released according to the monthly schedule of the program, through Caixa Tem and withdrawn with the Auxílio Brasil card. Withdrawals can be made at ATMs, Caixa branches and lottery outlets.

The withdrawal of amounts is done with the program card. New beneficiaries must receive, at the address provided in CadÚnico (Cadastro Único), the withdrawal card. However, through Caixa Tem, it is possible to make withdrawals, transfers, payments of values ​​and purchases by cell phone.

According to the Ministry of Citizenship, with the inclusion of 556 thousand new beneficiaries in Auxílio Brasil, the queue for the benefit is zero.
