Share prices recorded a significant decline in today’s session Stock Exchange, with the market retreating towards the levels of 1,330 units, amid downward movement in the European markets as well. The market corrected after eight consecutive bullish sessions, during which the main stock index had posted a total of 4.01% gains.

O General Price Index closed at 1,332.47 points, down 1.55%. Intra-session recorded a lower price at 1,332.23 points (-1.57%)

The value of transactions amounted to 87.23 million euros, while 20,905,690 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell 1.59%, while the mid-cap index fell 1.03%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Quest Holdings (+0.91%), Lamda (+0.70%) and Viohalco (+0.64%) registered an increase.

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Piraeus (-3.90%), Ellaktor (-3.72%), Ethniki (-2.72%), Titan (-2.26%) and Alpha Bank (-2.22%).

Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 4,562,577 and 4,016,287 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Nthniki with 16.92 million euros and Piraeus with 11.45 million euros.

23 stocks moved up, 83 fell and 12 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Doppler +5.26% and Foodlink +5.19%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Fieratex -8.43% and Minerva -5.88%.
