The minimum wage increases to 830 euros from April 1st, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced today at the cabinet meeting.

According to data from Ergani, those paid the minimum wage amount to 559,274.
The increases in the last three years:
- February 2019: 650 euros
- January 2022: 663 euros
- May 2022: 713 euros
- April 2023: 780 euros
- April 2024: 830 euros
The workers they earn three extra wages compared to 2019 on an annual basis.
- Increase of €2,352 (30.7%) to €10,010 in 2024 from €7,658 in 2019 in the annual net income of minimum wage workers (applies to single-person households without other income and assets)
- A significant benefit of up to 3,276 euros annually and for employees with previous service who are paid the minimum wage (with completed three years before 2012)
