The extension of the ENFIA exemption for preserved monuments and works of art also in 2024 and the acceleration of the procedures for the “Andreas Lentakis” government park are included in an amendment of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, which was submitted to the Parliament a little while ago.

In particular, in the amendment – which will be voted in the context of the draft law of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance “Tax Procedure Code and other provisions –

Exemption from ENFIA for preserved monuments and works of art in 2024 as well.

The exemption in question for rights on properties that have been classified as preserved monuments or works of art was valid for the years 2022 and 2023. These properties have been classified until December 31, 2021 as preserved and are prior to January 1, 1940.

Acceleration of the relocation process of EAS S.A. in order to speed up the procedures for the creation of the government park “Andreas Lentakis” on the site of the former PYRKAL factory of the Municipality of Dafni – Ymittos.

For this purpose, a special procedure is provided for the sale, disposal and utilization of equipment at the E.A.S. from TAIPED. By decision of the Minister of National Economy and Finance, the criteria for participation and the details concerning the relevant auctions as well as the manner and time of publication of the invitations are defined.

In this way, the space will soon become available to start the work required to create the government park.

In addition, with another regulation it is provided that old decisions on the definition of coasts and beaches, which were taken in Committee meetings BEFORE the entry into force of the recent law (5092/2024 (A’ 33), can be approved and published in the Official Gazette in order to avoid the unnecessary repetition of the process under the new committees.
