They amount to 6.33 billion euros the initial debts that have been settled through the extrajudicial mechanism until the end of May.

This is a total of 17,893 successful arrangements that have been completed in total within the framework of the out-of-court mechanism, while, in particular, in May the successful arrangements amounted to 1,153 which correspond to debts of 420 million euros.

Also, it is worth noting that arrangements are now being made for vulnerable debtors based on the recent law that provides for the compulsory acceptance of the out-of-court settlement proposal by the creditors.

Specifically, the first 374 adjustments of this category have been made.

The reports on the extrajudicial mechanism and bilateral arrangements publish in detail the approval rates of the financial institutions (banks and management companies) as well as the data on non-performing loans of the four systemic banks.

Most of the non-performing loans recorded by the banks are canceled and about 20% are under regulation.

Finally, arrangements corresponding to the largest loan management companies are presented in detail. The 4 management companies, which hold almost 90% of the market, in total in April 2024 carried out direct bilateral arrangements for almost 5,500 debtors, with a total amount of debts of 358 million euros.
