In the coming days, with the 18th relevant credit approval decision, the accounts of 1,137 beneficiaries of the program will be credited “Moving Electric II”, the amount of 3,649,115 euros.
As stated in a relevant announcement by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, of these, an amount of 1,675,463 euros concerns 897 natural persons and an amount of 1,973,652 euros, 240 legal entities. In total, 1,225 electric vehicles will be subsidized.
Since November 2023, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has paid subsidies totaling 31,567,689 euros to 9,211 beneficiaries for the purchase or lease of an electric vehicle.
In total, since the start of the Program, in July 2022, 36,941,312 euros have been paid.
At the same time as the new credit approval for “Moving Electric II”, the amendment of the current Joint Ministerial Decision was signed, which extends the deadline for submitting applications until 31/7/2024 and the deadline for the implementation of the projects until 31/12/2025 , in the action to subsidize public charging stations “Charge Everywhere”.
The purpose of the action is to provide financial incentives for the supply and installation of publicly accessible electric vehicle charging stations in key urban and peri-urban locations and points of interest, such as airports, motorways, ports and car parks.
His goal “Charge Everywhere” is the installation of at least 4,500 publicly accessible recharging points for electric vehicles, with the cumulative installed power of these points amounting to 300,000 kW.
The “Charge Everywhere” action is financed with 80 million euros from the Recovery and Resilience Fund. For the successful implementation of the action, an official web portal (https://fortizopantou.gov.gr) operates.
