Selection of green skills training programs for private sector salaried workers has begun
Today, Monday, November 4, 2024, the selection of green skills training programs by the beneficiary-employees started at the online address: https://kub.voucher.gov.gr/dypa-employeddb/training-program/program-selection/front/.
The offered programs, amounting to over 600, are displayed according to the educational level of the beneficiaries (compulsory, secondary, higher education graduate, etc.), as well as the other academic qualifications they have declared.
The start date of the procedures related to the implementation of the training will be announced with a relevant announcement on the website of the Public Employment Service (PYPA).
As stated in a relevant announcement, the continuing professional training program for a total of 75,000 workers is implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0”, with funding from the European Union-Next Generation EU and aims to link training with the needs of the labor market, in the context of the green transition of the economy.
Each trainee will attend a theoretical training program, with a total duration of 80 hours.
After completing the training, the beneficiaries will participate in knowledge and skills certification exams by independent bodies and, those who succeed, will receive the full training allowance, which amounts to up to 400 euros gross (5 euros per hour of training).
