easyBoat announced the start of the second crowdfunding campaign through Crowdbase.

easyBoat was founded in 2022 by Alexandros Nastos and Simeon Lalagos, under the auspices of Sir Stelios Hatziioannou, founder of easyJet and easyGroup, and is a leader in boat charters. Its innovative platform enables users to compare prices from different boat owners and brokers, while providing transparency and convenience.

Since its first successful crowdfunding campaign, which attracted 141 investors, easyBoat has expanded its fleet from 10,000 to 50,000 boats and introduced innovative practices such as boat price comparison and comprehensive flight matching.

easyBoat operates in regions such as Greece, Italy, Croatia, Spain and Turkey and is evaluating new markets to expand its footprint, according to Mr Nasto.

After a successful first round of funding in which it raised €700,000, easyBoat is now seeking to raise an additional €1 million. up to €1.5 million

The new funds will be used to upgrade the platform, develop the team, and expand marketing.

Planned upgrades include improved payment options, additional language and currency options, and will allow individual boat owners around the world to join the platform.
