The liter of gasoline exceeds R$ 10 in the countryside of Acre, after the mega-increase in fuels announced by Petrobras on Thursday (10).

One of the cases that gained repercussion on social networks is that of Marechal Thaumaturgo (about 560 km from Rio Branco). In the municipality, the liter of gasoline went to R$ 10,550.

According to information from Rede Amazônica, there is only one terrestrial gas station in the city. The others are fluvial. There are also reports of double-digit prices in other municipalities in Acre.

Pressured by the advance of oil prices with the war between Russia and Ukraine, Petrobras announced on Thursday (10) readjustments in the values ​​of gasoline, diesel oil and cooking gas. The highs for the distributors came into force this Friday (11).

In the case of gasoline, the adjustment is 18.8%. The average price in the state-owned refineries went from R$ 3.25 to R$ 3.86 per liter.

With that, Brazilians rushed to gas stations on Thursday. The search was for lower values ​​before the mega-increase was passed on to the bombs.

Drivers lined up at gas stations in capital cities such as Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba and São Paulo, as well as cities in the interior.
