The first beneficiaries, amounting to 2,246, are included in the “Change Device for Businesses” program, which are supported with 24,256,800 euros in total.

With the inclusion decision of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, aid beneficiaries will be able to open special, reserved trust accounts (escrow accounts). There, the total maximum amount of the aid, amounting to 10,800 euros, per beneficiary will be transferred.

From this money, up to 10,000 euros is the maximum aid that can be given to each beneficiary for the eligible expenses of the program. At the same time, up to 300 euros is the maximum expenditure for the fee of the application support consultant, while up to 500 euros is the maximum aid for expenses related to recycling initiatives.

The responsibility program of the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Thodorou Skylakakis, has a total budget of 105.6 million. euros and remains open for submission of applications until it is exhausted.

Applications are submitted through the program’s electronic platform (https://exoikonomo-epixeiro2023.gov.gr) and the direct evaluation method (First in-First out) is applied for the inclusion of beneficiaries.

It is noted that in order to submit applications in the “Inclusion Presenting Documents” status, the steps listed in the “application guide” (available on the program platform) must be followed, specifically the submission:

  1. of the supporting document Documenting Energy Goal Achievement in the Documents Tab (1st PEA or 1st Energy Audit or Emissions Certificate or Responsible Declaration of Energy Goal Achievement) and
  2. of the updated Responsible Accumulation Statement

The inclusion decision, with the full list of beneficiaries, is posted on the program’s website. There, the beneficiaries can be informed about all the steps they are asked to follow, in the context of the implementation of the program.

“Change Device for Businesses” is implemented in the framework of the “Saving – Doing Business” action, with the support of the Recovery and Resilience Fund. The agency for management and control of the final list of approved beneficiaries of the program is TAIPED.
