At least 45,000 applications have been submitted so far for the “My Home II” program, as the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance pointed out, speaking to SKAI and on the show “Kalimera” with Faye Mavragani Nikos Papathanasis.

According to Mr. Papathanasis, there is great interest from the citizens for “My House II”, approximately 1000 applications are submitted per hour. “It was a program claimed by the Prime Minister from the European Commission and he won it. It is Recovery Fund money and concerns 20,000 households,” he added.

As he pointed out “for the first time we have eligibility approval through gov.gr. We have simplified the procedures, there is no limitation of the three-month approval”, stressing that “the selection of the beneficiaries will be done in order of priority. Approvals have already started.

“We have expanded age and income criteria. The loan can reach 190,000 euros”, he clarified.

Also, the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance emphasized that from the end of January, an additional program for the energy upgrade of the residence will be run with an interest-free loan of 25,000 euros.

“There is no age or income limit, it’s for everyone. In order to carry out an action to upgrade our house”, said Mr. Papathanasis.
