A few days ago, the signing ceremony of the OMODA & JAECOO distribution contract in the Greek market was held at the Chery Group’s headquarters in the Wuhu, China.

Shortly before the signing of the contract, the head of the Emil Frey Group in Greece, Yiannis Kalligeros, had the opportunity to get to know the technology and innovation that characterize the Chinese company vehicles. He was guided to the plant’s premises, watched the process of production and assembly closely, and had the exclusive opportunity to test future models on a specially designed track. His visit coincided with an impressive live crash test in Chery’s special test department, which highlighted the company’s emphasis on security and build quality.

Currently, the brand has achieved its entry into 33 countries and regions, while total sales for 2024 amount to 248,605 points, up 54% on an annual basis, with more than 410,000 users worldwide. In the European market in just one year, the brand already has a presence in six countries, and the strategic expansion for 2025 provides for it to operate in even more European markets. In addition, with a privately owned factory in Spain, the company has become the first Chinese car industry with a factory in Europe.
