XP starts this month the first phase of its training program for investment advisors exclusively for black professionals, called Vem Transformar.
The idea, at first, was to open 600 vacancies to offer courses and prepare candidates for the Ancord test (National Association of Brokers and Distributors of Securities, Exchange and Commodities), a necessary condition to be an autonomous agent. But this first edition of the program will start with 454 people selected from 2,400 applicants.
In addition to training, the company pays the certification costs required to work in a financial career.
After the program is over, XP promises to send those who obtain the certificate to the selection processes of the autonomous offices of its partner network.
The initiative follows the photo episode of Ável Investimentos, an office of self-employed agents linked to XP that went viral on the internet last year when it published the image of a team made up of dozens of young white men, raising questions about the lack of representation of black professionals in the country.
