All of the government bodies have sent their tax information to AADE, which are essential for the smooth start of the tax returns on March 17, in time.

According to the new legislative framework, the deadline that the public bodies had to send the data to AADE ended on February 28.

More specifically, all ministries, and all supervised bodies, municipalities, regions, universities and research centers, trade chambers, independent authorities, etc. have already sent the necessary tax information to AADE.

It is recalled that this year there is a specific and predetermined framework for the submission of tax returns with clear timetables and liabilities for bodies and responsible persons, as well as fines for those who do not send the information or send them with a large number of inaccurate information.

In this way, the state aims to deal with pathogens, bureaucratic anchorages and issues that have been pending, tensions, extensions, postponements and delays that have plagued citizens and the competent services over time.

The next step is to open and according to the predetermined schedule, the submission platform on 17/3. The new institutional framework predicts that every year on 15/3 the process begins, but because this year is Saturday, this will take place on the next business day on Monday 17/3.

The Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Christos Dimas said: “The state is now operating organized and coordinated and therefore for the first time, 17 days before the tax filing platform opened, AADE has already at its disposal all the necessary tax data from the total of 1250. In this way we ensure that this year the tax returns process will rolle smoothly than in previous years. Our goal is to rationalize and house the process of submitting tax returns for the benefit of citizens and businesses. “
