The record record recorded for energy -saving programs “Save 2025” and “Change Water Heater”, which have exceeded 171,000 applicationsled the Ministry of Environment and Energy to extend the dates of applications, giving the prospective beneficiaries who had not yet managed to gather the required supporting documents to submit applications.

It is noted that in the framework of Action 16994 “Energy Efficiency and Promotion of RES for Self -Consumption” by REPOWEREU, the Ministry implements seven (7) energy saving programs aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption in households, businesses and public bodies.

Yesterday, the ministry announced the extension of applications for all seven programs.

Regarding the existing status of applications for each of the programs it is as follows:

1. Program “Save 2025”

• Total number of applications submitted: 24.262
o Wounds – Earthquake -stricken: 8.372
o Vulnerable households: 3,002
o Disabled: 3,385
• Total number of saved applications: 86,885

2. Program “I change heating system and water heater”

• Number submitted applications for water heater: 90,788
• Number of submitted heat pump applications: 56.253
• Total: 147.041

3. Program “Business Storage Systems”

• Total number submitted applications: 105
• Total number of saved applications: 551

4. Program “Improving Energy Efficiency of Mountain Tourist Homes”

• Total number of applications submitted: 14
• Total number of saved applications: 160

5. Foivos program

• Total number of applications submitted: 23
• Total number of saved applications: 50

6. Athena program

• Total number of applications submitted: 99
• Total number of saved applications: 105

7. Program “Promoting Energy Efficiency in Municipal Water and Sewerage Municipal Enterprises”
