Businesses will be called upon to see how the new system works – for which AADE has made an effort to be simple and gradually adopt it.

Even with a significant delay compared to the initial timetable that has been in force already last fall, the digital clientele is doing its premiere Monday.
The beginning is with car businesses. That is:
- Car rental
- Washing machines
- Workshops/ranchers
- Parking
According to AADE Governor George Pitsilis, and to entertain the concerns they have expressed – as we have written on – the businesses in the area for cost and service time, the first period of implementation will be optional.
Businesses will be called upon to see how the new system works – for which the Authority has made a great deal of effort to be as simple to use – and gradually adopt it. They will also see how the new system can be interoperable with any existing systems used mainly by large businesses.
Also, the optional measure is initially dictated by the fact that in its first form the digital clientele will only work on computers and laptops. From June it will be applied to the mobile phone that will be integrated into the Mydata platform making it use much easier.
The digital clientele is essentially the evolution of the old good customer book only that everything is now digital.
Taking, for example, a parking lot, every car coming in to park will be recorded by scanning his plate from his professional phone. In real time the car sign (and not the name of the driver/owner of the IX) will be recorded in the digital clientele of Mydata. And when the car is leaving the parking lot, this time the receipt or invoice will be issued to close the transaction will be scanned this time.
All of these moves, AADE will be able to see them in real time as the application is interconnected with TAXIS. And whenever there is a smaller number of evidence than the movements then the business door will be knocked for further checks. In fact, there will also be the possibility of comparing the data of a particular business as recorded in the clientele with the data resulting from similar companies.
In the second stage, from Autumn and after a significant interval and dialogue with business businesses, the digital clientele is expected to extend to businesses organizing banquets, weddings, baptisms, gatherings and parties. And more and more businesses will be called upon to apply it such as gyms, aesthetics, physiotherapists, dance schools, hotels and organized accommodation and doctors.
In addition to complying in the new tax framework, the new tool helps businesses and managing their customers as it offers a number of functions such as:
- Registration of new customers
- Update and modify existing records
- Customer cancellation without the need for manual document submission
- Correlation of records with evidence and documents
- Reduce errors that could lead to fines
