Chryssa Miliou assumes the duties of the Secretary General of Tax Policy at the Ministry of National Economy and Finance.

Chryssa Miliou is a lawyer specializing in tax law. He is a graduate of the Department of Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the National School of Public Administration. He holds a Masters Degree in European Economics from the Department of International and European Economics of the Athens University of Economics and Economics, while at the same University he completed a postgraduate program in tax law at the same University.

During her many years of career in the public and private sectors he has specialized in a wide range of tax items and has provided services tax adviser in individuals and businesswhile he has been actively involved in working groups and committees related to taxation and taxation policy.

He was a member of the Ministry of Finance and later the Independent Public Revenue Authority for 15 years, deepening in key tax sectors, such as income taxthe tax checksthe Public Revenue Collection and the fight against financial crime (SDOE), while at the same time taking responsibility. During its transition to the private sector, it first joined Grant Thornton’s tax section and then into the section Tax and Legal of PwCwith the main subjects of the taxation of natural persons, tax differences and international tax issues.

Since August 2023 he worked as a consultant of the Secretary General of Tax Policy of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, with an active role in preparing tax provisions, negotiating dual tax avoidance contracts and the formation of tax policy at the European Union and European Union.
