Eve, a subsidiary of Embraer, producer of electric aircraft, also known as flying cars, announces new delivery expectations for its vehicles called evtols.
There are 340 units expected in the second year of operation, which will be in 2027. By 2030, the number of deliveries will rise to 1,000.
According to the company, the plan is to exceed US$ 1 billion in revenue by 2027 and US$ 4.5 billion in 2030. The estimated value of each unit is at the level of US$ 3 million.
In addition to serving the evtols’ own fleet, Eve says it also wants to provide services to other manufacturers. Projected revenue from services and support is around $500,000 per evtol per year.
About 85% of all revenue in the early years will come from the sales and service and support pillars, according to the company.
Last month, Embraer announced that it had received an order for up to 90 vehicles from Australian companies. According to the manufacturer, up to 50 are planned in a partnership with Aviair and HeliSpirit, from the HM Consolidated group, in addition to 40 for Microflite, one of the main helicopter operators in Australia.
In September 2021, the aircraft manufacturer announced another agreement with the company Bristow, with an order for up to 100 units with deliveries expected to start in 2026.
