The image of a devastated country, without infrastructure and future, is presented by Ukraine34 days after the invasion of its territory by Russian forces.
The situation that has developed in the country is reflected -among other things- in the quality characteristics of the refugee waves that began to arrive from the very first days in neighboring countries. According to official figures, almost half of the registered refugees from Ukraine, in neighboring countriesare minors and the vast majority of them are under 16 years old.
Nevertheless Refugee flows show a marked decline in the last 24 hours, it is true that the situation is dramatic, as almost four million civilians have taken refuge in European countries. At the height of the crisis so far, the number of refugees has reached 200,000 civilians a day. Today, however, they have reached 40,000 a day, a number that is clearly large, but more manageable than in the past.
At the moment, Europe is providing them with everything they need, as well as protection status, but in the near future it is unclear how the war in Ukraine will unfold, possibly overturning the current data.
