‘Plapsy’ empties’ for their students who want to claim a mortgage allowance up to EUR 2,500, as the deadline for submitting applications expires. These relate to the granting of a student housing allowance for the academic year 2024-2025 and potential beneficiaries can submit their application digitally through the Website or through Gov.gr, in the “Education” category and subcategory “Universities and Attendance”.

Interested parties complete their details, and should meet a number of economic, social and academic criteria to receive the allowance. The application must be submitted by Thursday 31 July.

The criteria for students of HEIs

Specifically, the audit on the platform after submission of the application relates to family income (which should not exceed 30,000 euros), not to be the student holder of another degree, having successfully completed the exams in half the lessons of the previous academic year – except if it is not the case. orphan).

Applications are evaluated by the competent departments of the Foundation in the special application here.

Applications are initially evaluated in relation to the data relating to the student for which the housing allowance is applied and only if they are approved, the additional co -habitation information is evaluated.

Applications approved in terms of the student for which the housing allowance is applied and either have not completed co -habitation or co -habitation has not been approved by the competent service of the Foundation, the amount of EUR 1,500 shall be paid.

Which students will receive 2,000 and 2,500 euros

The allowance is set at the amount of EUR 2,000 exclusively for beneficiaries attending HEIs outside the Attica Region or the Regional Unit of Thessaloniki.

In the event of approval of all the details of the application by the competent department of the Foundation, including co -habitation, the amount of EUR 2,000 shall be paid.

Exclusively in the case of a beneficiary attending HEIs outside the Attica Region or the Regional Unit of Thessaloniki and is living with another student in the same leased residence, the allowance is set at € 2,500.

When and by whom the allowance is paid

If the documentation is completed and the conditions for granting the allowance by the electronic system and the competent services of the Foundation are verified, in accordance with the above, the Foundation’s financial service for the issuance of the relevant warrants are promoted to the relevant applications together with the supporting documents.

In the case of students who come from transfer, the allowance is granted by the institution that the student belongs to at the time of application.

The expense for the payment of the housing allowance of the students, in accordance with the above, is liquidated by the relevant SAI Services. and AEA of the country and is solely for payment only by monetary orders issued in accordance with the provisions in force by these services.
