The market completed nine consecutive meetings, during which the basic stock index records a total of 8.48%.
Continuous high, positive yields, a positive profitability image and increased transactions, make up a positive backdrop on the stock market, which in July completed nine months of rise, an unparalleled record for the first time in stock markets and continues dynamically.
During the last nine months, from early November 2024 until today, August 14, 2025, the basic stock market index records a total of 53.77%, while the 105.02%bank profits.
The presence of foreign investors in the Greek market continue to be strong, with their participation in trading activity at 64.4%, in July 2025 (compared to 61.9% last month).
Transaction value for July reached 199.02 million, up 25.84% from the previous trading activity, while 2024 increased by July 2024, a 135.42% increase.
The General Price Index closed the week at 2,126.18 points, compared to 2,070.13 units last week, with a weekly rise in 2.71%. Since the beginning of August, it has been up 6.60% and since the beginning of the year it has recorded profits of 44.67%.
The FTSE/ASE 25 high -capitalization index closed a week with a rise of 2.74% and has made a 50.09% profit since the beginning of 2025.
The FTSE MID mid -capitalization index closed with a weekly rise of 1.48%, while by the beginning of the year it rose 27.18%.
The banking index closed a week with 2.56%, while in early 2025 it has made a profit of 82.84%.
The total value of transactions at this week’s meetings amounted to EUR 857,725 million, while the average daily transaction value stood at EUR 214,431 million, from 273,049 million euros of last week.
The total market capitalization this week increased by EUR 4,388 billion to € 148,571 billion, while by early 2025 it has increased by € 45,431 billion.
