The National Telecommunications & Post Committee of Postal Technologies, in accordance with the regulation issued, provides the possibility of reducing post -mail service fees to investing in anti -pollution technologies.
The aim of EETT is to strengthen the incentives to adopt environmentally friendly technologies, as it is also provided for in the Rules of Procedure.
The regulation presents the procedure and methodology of calculating the reduction of fees, also presenting indicative examples. Among other things, the following are provided:
– All providers with general and/or special permit providing postal services have the right to apply at the time of submission of the request. The request must be sufficiently substantiated and include all the information specified in the Regulation.
– The investment must have been made within two years of the date of submission of the request and concern environmentally friendly technologies utilized in the context of postal services. It is also a prerequisite for the provider that has not received a subsidy for this investment.
– The amount of the fees reduction is calculated by taking into account gross income from postal services and the amount of investment.
– After examining the request, EETT issues a decision setting the final amount of the investment accepted in the context of the reduction process. The reduction is applied to the next from the date of issue of the EETT decision.
In the event that the provider is active in other areas, a fee is provided solely to the percentage of investment corresponding to the provision of postal services.
