Azul Linhas Aéreas has filed the documents and asked the Brazilian regulator to transfer what will be its next Airbus A320neo jet, the Donald Duck plane.
Branded PR-YSI (msn 10804), the aircraft bears the character’s livery, as part of the campaign it maintains in partnership with Disney.
According to the flight request, the arrival of the new jet should take place sometime between April 15 and May 15.
The first destination in Brazil should be Belo Horizonte, where it will undergo nationalization and customs processes, before heading to Viracopos to be customized internally.
The Donald Duck aircraft will be the third of four customized aircraft that Azul said it would have. In Brazil, there are already jets with paintings in reference to Mickey and Minnie on the Airbus A320neo registration PR-YSH and Airbus A321neo registration PR-YJF aircraft, respectively.
