For the pensions from now on and based on the existing legislation, EFKA is obliged to issue the new pensions within 3 months. In cases where this is not possible, the pension will be issued combining the existing insurance history of both the insured and the supporting documents he / she has submitted and document additional insurance time.
The verification of the supporting documents will take place after the award of the pension.
2023 brings a double bonama for retirees. Kostis Hatzidakis confirmed that the abolition of the new year is also planned for the pensioners. In addition, after 12 years, the increases in the pensions of all retirees, regardless of the insurance fund, are thawing. The amount of the increase in pensions will be neither a product of a government decision nor a result of any negotiation.
It will come from half the sum of GDP growth and inflation, but it cannot be greater than inflation.
