Sister accuses Meghan Markle of father’s health, says she would not be welcome at funeral

Samantha Markle, half-sister of Meghan Markle, 40, has accused the Duchess of Sussex of the stroke suffered by their father earlier this week. She said the stress caused by Meghan led Thomas Markle, 77, to hospital, where he remains in recovery.

In an interview with TMZ, Samantha said she believes that the stress caused by her sister is what has weakened her father’s health. She further stated that she hopes Meghan will change her stance, but stressed that she would not be welcome at the funeral if her father dies.

“Better stay away from the funeral and not use the moment as an opportunity to be photographed,” she snapped using an expletive. Samantha even said that if Meghan still hasn’t regretted keeping away from her father, she probably never will.

Thomas was taken to the hospital on Monday night with a suspected stroke. Samantha told TMZ that her dad had a stroke and that he has mobility issues on his left side and can’t move the muscles in his face, undergoing physical therapy to talk.

This is the latest health issue for Thomas, who said he suffered two heart attacks shortly before Meghan’s 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. Samantha also points out the stress Meghan caused by these heart attacks.

In March of this year, Thomas said he would testify against Meghan in US court. He said in an interview with YouTube channel Remarkable Friendship that he would side with his eldest daughter in her lawsuit against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Samantha filed a lawsuit for considering that her famous sister made “false and malicious statements” about her own family in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, 68. At the time, her lines that gained the most repercussion concerned her husband’s family.
