Comedian Whindersson Nunes, 27, vented after being filmed during his trip with ex-fiancée Maria Lina Deggan, 23, to Egypt. The video circulates on social media against the will of the ex-couple, who said that the moment would be an intimate trip for the two, in the month that marks one year since the death of their son, João Miguel, who was born prematurely.
“One year we lost our baby on the 31st. Two adult people try to heal their pain as they feel better… We thought: ‘why not get to know a place and culture that we’ve never seen up close? the longing that we will never be able to undo'”, Whindersson began on his Twitter.
He went on to say that he asked all Brazilians he met not to publish anything about the trip. “But it really is like a zoo, there’s no explanation that makes you understand. I know I’m a public person and I understand that people are interested in people’s lives, this is how we live and how we make a living,” he continued.
“But not everything in life is having a ‘crush’ or ‘shipping’ people, there are people who just want to spend a few days of peace and heal pains they never thought they would need to heal, and not read all kinds of opinions and judgments during a mourning”, added the outburst.
Deggan also spoke about it on his networks. “Uncomfortable and invasive. Intimate moments exposed, very boring. So many people do everything to be in evidence, why not focus on them and leave those who really value description quiet?”, he asked in Stories.
The two began their relationship in November 2020, and got engaged in March 2021. In May of the same year, the ex-couple lost João Miguel, their son who was born prematurely at 22 weeks, and they announced their separation in August.
