This is second highest record for a private collection sold by Christie’s in France.

Among the treasures that Givenchy left behind are: sculpture by Italian artist Alberto Giacomettiwhich was sold 27 million euros and a sketch of his chalk Picasso of 1947 acquired in honor of 4.2 million euros.
