Singer Katy Perry, 37, tipped a waitress generously for treating her like a normal person by denying a table at a cafe in Port Douglas, Australia. Indianna Paull shared the story on TikTok recounting her memorable encounter with the pop star, but later took down the video.

Katy is in Australia accompanying her husband, actor Orlando Bloom, 45, who is shooting a movie. On June 18, the singer asked to sit at a table in the cafe. Indianna, who didn’t recognize the star under her hat and sunglasses, said she would have to wait until a table became available.

Indianna said the singer initially “argued” with her about the lack of tables, but after the service at the cafe thanked her with a generous tip for treating her like a ‘normal person. “When you’re the first dumbass to tell Katy Perry she has to wait for a table,” the waitress said in the video.

Katy and Indianna’s interaction was captured by nearby paparazzi and the photos were published by Daily Mail Australia., on Monday (20). In the images you can see Katy unhappy with her daughter Daisy Dove on her lap talking to Indianna behind the counter. The singer had gone there to have breakfast with her family.
